You can find shady gardens, too! ;-)

ps I must tell you that I have cardinals and all the seemingly main variety of "edge of woodland" birds on and off all day! Just took some more photos. 3x zoom doesn't get you close, but if I don't compress some photos, it's easy to see them.Shady Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05007816271406393818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5079281006825800834.post-90764425027134481582008-01-15T15:40:00.000-06:002008-01-15T15:40:00.000-06:00Lovely roses! But a fun trip none the less, they have large rose trial gardens. I LOVE the butterfly house and am disappointed that they closed it for three months this winter. I loved going there in the dead of winter to see the butterflies.Iowa Gardening Womanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13457574109288160557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5079281006825800834.post-15568512678936362702008-01-14T11:29:00.000-06:002008-01-14T11:29:00.000-06:00Reiman Gardens is one of those trips I've planned ...Reiman Gardens is one of those trips I've planned on for years and just never made it (came close a couple of times). Just to get a different perspective and ideals. One will be 16 in April and the other will be 11 in the summer. They were both ferell(SP)and are still crazy cats when we have company. Gardening in the basement is out of the question cause of the steep steps. I do love the flower photos and look forward to seeing more.
LindaGardengirl1952https://www.blogger.com/profile/14003016282922350218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5079281006825800834.post-65957569731379187662008-01-12T21:55:00.000-06:002008-01-12T21:55:00.000-06:00LOL...I brought in one of my potted roses, pruned ...LOL...I brought in one of my potted roses, pruned it, fertilized it and put it under my gro-light yesterday. The oldest cat once destroyed six hot pepper plants I had repotted and put in the utility room. She chewed every plant.
Is Reiman in Iowa City?Gardengirl1952https://www.blogger.com/profile/14003016282922350218noreply@blogger.com
