Cloudy dreary day here in Iowa once more, cool but getting very humid so I imagine we will have rain tomorrow.

Hydrangea

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday. It is still cool here in Iowa but it is warmer than yesterday. This is one of my Hydrangea bushes about 2 weeks ago, it is currently in full beautiful wonderfully pink bloom (pics later). I have had this bush for a few years, it did not bloom so I moved it two years ago, it finally decided to bloom, maybe me telling it that the compost heap was its next stop had something to do the blooms :). I love hydrangeas and have quite a few of them, I planted them all together because of their water requirements, much easier to water when they are all hanging out together.

Been Missing in Action

Hope everyone is having a great summer so far! I have not been blogging, not really sure why, been really busy and had lots of things going on, some good, most not so good. But on a bright note my garden is beautiful this year! Will share a few photos with you this evening. It is cool here in Iowa today, about 20 degrees below normal, which has been a nice refreshing break for me, I love the cool weather, maybe I should move to Minnesota ????? These photos were all taken last month.

Bleeding Hearts

We have been busy, company, moving my parents from the boondocks to town. Spring planting etc. This weekend is free of plans and wouldn't just know it? The weather sounds awful!
