As I walked around the tree trying to get a good shot of him, he was scurry around to the other side of the tree, I could hear his claws digging into the tree as he would try to hide himself from me. He mostly won but I did get a couple of shots.
Cute : ) Squirrels are quite leery of having their picture taken, unless they're oblivious to the camera while focusing on some food; at least that's my experience : )
Since i started feeding them they are less shy. I put a 1/4 inch lag bolt about 6 inches long on a wire and attached that to a tree. I can screw a whole ear of corn to this and have fun watching them eat at it upside down.
Squirrels are a favorite subject of mine too. I mostly use my 70-300 mm lens for the shots so I don't have to chase them. LOL Glad you were able to catch a few shots :D

Nice shot! My local squirrel group were yelling at me from the tree when I stepped out today - I interrupted their meal! LOL!

Wonderful shots for those little varmints are really quick.
He is a pretty color, great shots.
This is what the birds do to me at the bird feeder, trot around the other side. Cute one.
Cheers from Cottage Country!
