Spring migration is upon us, while taking the 1st photo I did not notice the two juvenile bald eagles in the tree watching the ducks, I cropped them out in the second photo. It is always fun to get a "bonus" when taking pictures!
I wanted to include a link to an eagle web cam that is about 90 miles from my house, the eggs should be hatching any time. It is fascinating!

Great photos. The Eagle are a bonus shot. Reminds me of the webcam up with the nesting Eagle going on right now.

Have you been watching that also?? It is about 90 miles from my house, we have been watching it all the time. No eggs hatched as of yet.
It is great fun to "find" something you didn't expect when you download your images, isn't it! I bet those eagles were looking for lunch. :)
Wow, amazing photos. Even though I don't live in Iowa it makes me want to visit. A very nice blog!
Great shots! I hope I can learn to take some great shots too - soon as I figure out this camera! :-)
I like the bufflehead ducks. I think the black & white contrast of the male is so striking. Thanks too for the link to the eagle cam. My daughter had sent it to me while I was on the road and I lost it.
Beautiful photographs.

Nice bonus. I sometimes get surprised with bugs on flowers I hadn't noticed.
Hope the eagles weren't looking for supper with the ducks on the menu.
Some nice shots. I haven't checked the Decorah cam, but yesterday the eggs had holes started.
Fun shots!
Great photos once again! We have eagles here in this part of Virginia, but you have to really look for them. When we lived in Alaska I never got tired of seeing them!
Beautiful shot!
My Critters, come and see. Have A LOVELY WEEKEND!
Great shots and cool sighting of the juvenile eagles.
Eagles - wow! And are those ducks blue? Amazing!
If they're coming here, we're expecting snow tonight.Boom & Gary pof the Vermilon River, Canada.
