What excellent photos! I love how close you can get to the butterflies at indoor butterfly gardens. It's amazing when you have to duck to get out of the way of a butterfly! :o)
Texwisgirl, I was thrilled when an Owl butterfly decided to sit on my head, lol, the aide in the Butterfly House snapped a picture for me with my camera.
Love those butterfly captures! Nice to know a butterfly rested on your head. When we visited a butterfly house, my daughter was able to hold them with her hands.
I have a few butterfly posts recently. They were hanging mostly around the cosmos in my garden.
I love butterflies and the pictures you took are gorgeous... they are so clear and full of detail! I am glad that I followed your link from Camera Critters, I too am linking up if you'd like to visit. Hugs, antonella My post: http://quilling.blogspot.com/2011/06/simply-sunday_11.html

Pretty. I've seen a few of the native around, but not many this year.
