Mostly our mom lurks on your blog...Your photos always put a smile on her face.
We're in southeastern Ontario and oh, Thursday it was 45C/113F with the humidity factor. No a/c in the house. We hung out in our enclosed garden, in the shade, and the mom sat in the shade with her feet in a basin of cold water. LOL.
We're hoping for less humidity and slightly cooler temps too!
I am well aware of Iowa's heat and humidity as our children hope to escape to here this week... they will find it somewhat better as the dome of heat/humidity starts to depart this area, but our weather has been very unusual and extreme this year as well... thankfully, we are finally getting some intermittent rain! Larry
Sweet, sweet, and more sweet. I love watching birds, so this was a special "tweet" for me. [oh, and we don't get robins this far south, so that was great]

hang in there! the hummers have the right idea - hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!
It's not easy to stay cool, is it. :( I feel sorry for the critters who have to deal with it outside. Some won't make it.
Beautiful! I just love hummers. So sorry the hit has hit you now.
Hot and humid, you say? Oh, too bad, we have hot and humid here, as well.
SSDD! Great bird shots! I so think that robins are under-rated.

With you on the hot and humid..... all the birds look very happy in your garden.
Lovely shots, it has been too hot for too long. I join 15,000 tomorrow and will enjoy the hot going across the state on bikes.
Lovely bird shots.
Hope it cools off for you very soon.
I'd heard you guys had been having some crazy hot weather over there. It's rather cool over here in the UK.
Wonderful bird captures :)
Delightful I don't see any of them here and miss them a lot
Nice pics. We are praying for sunshine here.

Have a great weekend!!!
Nice photos.
Regards!
The birds around here have been rather quiet, possibly because it is too hot and humid...
nice shots
Hot and humid sounds very familiar! I'll be glad when this heat wave gives way to cooler weather. :) Your bird photos are gorgeous.
Great birds and photos. I lvoe the orioles and the hummers are adorable.
Definitely hot and humid here in MS.
So get the hot and humid! Same here in Philly! Found you on Camera Critters today!
Fellow Iowan native, how could I NOT follow you!
The little birds enjoy the weather.
Nice shots. Mary Joy from Learn Bass Guitar Online
Hot an humid still here in Virginia--So hot that I'd love a little breeze from one of the hummingbirds! :-)
