Oh, that is a beautiful lily. Do you have problems with the Red Lily Beetle there, yet?
You asked me a couple of questions and I'll answer them here.
We are fortunate here to have two wonderful daylily growers -- Grace Gardens, near Seneca Lake and Cottage Gardens, in Medina, NY. I usually make a pilgrimage to one or the other every year. In fact, tomorrow, I'm heading out to Cottage Gardens. He has over 3,000 cultivars. Heaven help me, I'm going to be spending some money, I know.
And, you asked what a Heart Cat is. It's a term my animal loving friends around here use to describe the special ones, the ones that hold that place closest to your heart. I have four cats, and I love them all dearly. But Becky is special, she's almost a part of me. So, she's my Heart Cat.
Louise, I kind of thought that is what Heart Cat meant :). You are lucky to have such huge daylily growers close by! I would love to make that trip also, sounds like fun.
I really like that first shot. I only recently discovered the wonder of photographing a flower from underneath like that. It gives a whole different perspective. Very nice pictures all.
Wonderful shots and they make my ditch lilies look sad. We are looking at a week in the mid to high nineties--such a relief from the 100+ we have been living with that I may break out a jacket.
This variety is beautiful, but previously released are different, some never had the florist. I like your blog and with your permission I would like to become a follower, ok? Anytime you visit our blog, we are still beginning to publish it. Regards.

Great compost heap, looks so good with the veg growing in it. The best potatoes I ever grew came out of one accidentally going in my compost.
