That top thing is pretty strange looking.... and actually pretty too!
All the flower photos are beautiful but I'm drawn to the pretty lichen in the first photo! It has such lovely colors.

Japanese Beetles are pretty, all shiny and bright. But, how dare he eat that lovely rose!
Great photos and the contrast between that Japanese beetle and the rose though a nasty view for many of us who garden, is a great contrast!
Your photos are beautiful. I'm still learning my way around my camera and haven't quite got the hang of macro yet. Your photos inspire me to not give up!
