Uh... yea, you have! *grins* You have lilacs blooming now?
Same question... are these blooming now? My lilacs were starting to show flower buds, but I don't know what the cold weather will do to them.
No, this picture is from last year, my bushes were not showing buds when we got this recent cold spell, I hope they will still bloom this year. I am just sick looking at all my perennials that were up 4-8 inches and are now piles of green mush.
They are awesome! I can feel the fragrance although I wish you could transmit the lovely smell via internet(it might just be possible soon!)
Reminds me of the time we lived in Iowa. Iowans seem especially fond of lilac and hollyhocks.
Wonderful lilacs! We were in Venice, Italy last week where they had lilacs in pots, so i couldn't resist stopping to smell their perfume.
