July 15th, 2002

Today marks 5 years since I lost my best friend..................Jessi Belle will live forever in my heart. She had Cushings Disease, we tried really hard to save her but it was not meant to be. She would have been 10 years old the following February. She was my shadow, I still miss her, she was a special dog.

I sure understand your deep-rooted feeling about your dog. She is a really good-looking one, and you must have wonderful memories.

It's always hard to lose a pet that is a part of one's family. She looks like a sweetheart..

Hello, I can imagine you still miss your dog. They become our friends, don't they. I have seen how it is with Stella taking up a spot in our hearts in just 2 months. Take care, Andrea

We lost our dog one year ago. I miss her, too. Thanks for visiting my blog. It's always nice to find blogs from the Midwest. We moved from a little town south of Wichita last year. Sold the farm and everything! I really miss that!!

What a cutie. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet. Hope you're doing okay - anniversaries of sad times are always hard for me too.

I came over to visit after you left a nice comment on my blog. I was pleased to see the Boxer, and then saddened to read about her not being here anymore. I'm so sorry. Do you have any other dogs?

Thanks for the kind words.

I now have another boxer, Quasi Boy, he was adopted from Midwest Boxer Rescue, rescue uses the alphabet to name the dogs as they come into rescue, I was going to change his name but decided he had been through enough. I also have a little spaniel named Erin.
