Hot & Humid

OK, it is official, I am ready for fall. The heat and humidity are getting to me, and now we are having monsoons as well. We have gotten 6 inches of rain since Saturday AM, with more predicted every day until Friday. This is not my favorite type of weather so therefore I have been spending more time inside, not to mention more time at work which I am not happy about either. The weekend forecast does sound good, with sunshine and lower humidity, I hope the weatherman is correct. I have lots of things I would like to do outside and would rather not sweat while working :).

I have been digital scrapbooking again. This is fun.

I have lots of activities waiting for me outside too. We didn't get as much rain here, but some parts of Minn certainly did. We needed the rain, but now I'm ready for nice temps and sunshine again!

I love the rain - it has been drippy and wet for three days and things are beginning to green up again.

I like the first page - I always like botanical illustrations which is perhaps why I favor it.

I scrapbook but I've never done digital before. I love the zinnia page.

There has been lots of rains in some parts of Germany and lots of basements have been flooded there. I hope there won't be bad floods like we have had them a few years back. However, I am not ready for fall, though I like that season. I could enjoy summer a bit longer, but maybe because it hasn't been as hot as it has in the last two years. Andrea

Your scrapbooking is looking great! Tonight I am sitting out in the garden wrapped in a blanket (57f) and hping that the promised sun and warmer temperatures on the weekend actually come true. I hope the humidity lowers there. When it is hot and humid, it is hard gettin gmuch of anything done!

Oh, my! Golly, gosh! I have never seen so many HUGE vegetables, as well as that sunflower head...all at your State Fair...wow! A proverbial cornucopia of delights :)

It's been rainy and wet. Then Hot and dry. So the plants are a little confused by now. I like the weather a little cooler 70s 80's but I don't care for the cold weather.
