i've always been a bit of a chicken when it comes to growing roses. Do you find they're a lot of work? Your Hibiscus is fabulous. You're so right about how they're not shy about blooming. I have two hibiscus and I'm always surprised by how may flowers they produce. In fact I just finished sweeping up a significant pile of spent blooms. Not to worry, though....plenty of blooms still to come.

Irena, hybrid tea roses are a lot of work, they are clingy needy plants. Bugs are crazy about them as well, and they catch every plant disease around. I have had a love hate relationship with them over the years. Their flowers are just so darn pretty! Old roses and shrub roses are a lot hardier and less work also.

I tell you, I've been looking at your blog for a few months now, and I'm always amazed that you keep coming up with more and more beautiful flowers to photograph.

You stand back a bit and take a few pictures of your entire garden so we get to see the whole thing it all of it's glory.

By the way - that was a bullsnake on my blog. If there ever was such a thing as a good snake, I guess these would be them - they eat rattlesnakes.

GREAT collage!! Roses are one of my favorites. Don't have a lot of room for them though.

Your roses are gorgeous. The deer got to ours and they haven't recovered from the heavy browsing. We have a lot of wild roses nearby and I wonder why the deer don't eat them, only our domesticated roses. Arrgh.

They are beautiful! We have trouble with the deer eating them here. The collage is great!!

Gorgeous roses - those colors are simply lovely. It always amazes me that there are so many different shapes of rose blooms.

Sooo pretty. I enlarged the photo to take it all in. I actually like the top 3 ones the most.

You have wonderful roses! I love roses too and have a lot of them. But most of them are "old roses", shrubs, climbers and ramblers. Actually there are only a few which are blooming again. Therefore I like so much to seeing yours!
