Bees, Cosmos

The weather has been cool and dreary. I would have loved to stay home this AM, sleep in, do some therapy baking and cooking, continue my Jeffrey Deaver book but it was off to work I went.

I took these photos early Saturday AM, the bee must have been chilled because he barely moved, I think the washed out color gives the photo some what of a dreamy effect.

Pretty! It's always nice to have some flowers 'hanging on' at the end of the season. The bee probably was a wee bit cold. :-)

Gorgeous photo! It won't be much more of these pretty flowers for this season.

Very nice moody pictures. Those bumblebees are tireless workers. They are the first ones we see in the morning and the last ones at dusk. Maybe because of their size they seem to be able to withstand cold weather better than most bees.

In Bavaria, Germany it 's to cold now to see flying bees. But I see it at your gorgeous photo. Wurzerl

Very nice! We're still hoping for rain this week. It's so dry here.

hi, we have had the most beautiful Indian Summer weather thru Wednesday and now it has really cooled down. Unlike you I have got the week off and have been able to enjoy outdoors and indoors. Great photo! Take care, Andrea

I love the washed out dreamy appearance! The bee maybe was just starting to wake up and get busy himself..:)

Poor bumblebee!! I guess if he had been smart he would have gone home before he got too cold to move. Great pictures!!
