TGIF, Christmas Cactus, Begonias, Cactus Garden

Friday is finally here, it seem to be a long time coming.

My Christmas cactus is in bloom. I have several but my favorite is the old fashioned kind that has been around forever. I have a begonia in bloom as well. Last weekend, I had a bit a free time so I did a cactus garden.

Very pretty Christmas catus. My mother still has the Christmas catus that came from the lady that got me into gardening. I need to get a leaf or two to start my own. Great little cactus garden. After I became interested in gardening my parents got me a terrarium kit for Christmas. That was a lot of fun!!

My tiny little christmas cactus that my mom gave me two years ago is starting to bloom again!! They are so lovely! I should post a picture of my mom's that Candy moved oh so carefully from the house to the apartment. It is lovely!

Looks like your cacti stems are elongating (etiolation) searching for more light. The process doesn't really hurt them, but they do lose their regular form.

Hi there, your cactus garden is a wonderful idea. I really like that. My Christmas cactus is already done blooming. I guess it was in a hurry. Take care, Andrea
