Begonias, Christmas Cactus, Cupcakes

What do the three have in common? Nothing, just sharing some photos, my pretty little pink begonia has been in bloom for ages, my Christmas cactus still has a few blooms and these are some cupcakes I made last weekend.

It was supposed to be in the 50s here in Iowa today but it did not make it, but it is 44 right now, with another winter weather advisory on the way tomorrow, more snow is on the way.

Flowers and cupcakes, what more could you need? We are warmer here in central Indiana, but expect some rain soon, not snow.

Those cupcakes look really good - it's too bad that we can't just reach into our computer screens and have a sample.

My Christmas Cactus decided to stop blooming, much to my dismay.

I couldn't ask for more. Nice Begonia flowers too.

How is the weather in your area? It went from 48° this morning to 5° this evening! With wind, snow, blizzard conditions! YIKES!

When I awoke this AM it was 38, by 11 it was 0, now it is -5.........what a switch! My boss let us leave work two hours early which was nice.

Nice day here and warm enough to get outside but we expect more snow later in the week. Never know as the weather can go from freezing to the 50's in nothing flat. We sometimes get a wind from the Southwest that is warm and called Chinook. This wind can melt snow and ice so fast that the valley has floods.
