New Beginnings

Today was a beautiful spring day! Finally! I wish tomorrow could be more of the same but it does not sound like that is gonna happen. I took the opportunity to clean out my raspberry bed, I did not get it finished but I put a large dent in the task. Loved soaking up all that Vitamin D. I stopped long enough to take a few pictures of plants poking their nose out of the ground.

Looks like you're just a wee bit behind us folks in Des Moines, but the overall view is similar! I noticed you have hyacinths peeking up already, whereas ours have yet to show themselves (fretting unnecessarily, probably). I just love how early Spring gives us a new discovery practically every day, when one spies something new coming up ... a most gratifying antidote to the long, harsh winter we just had!

Beautiful spring pictures. My crocusses are just about done, but Primulas are on the rise and many other plants. Take care, Andrea

I think it is the best time of the year, when you spot the new growths. Thanks for those pictures.
