Cameras are my weakness, I used a SLR, a Pentax K1000 for years. I bought my first digital camera in 1997, it took a picture at 600 X 460 pixels or some such, but I love my toys. I have had several digital cameras since. One of my friends calls me Best Buy Betty..........lol.........and no my name is not Betty but I do love Best Buy.
My latest camera is a Nikon P5100, it takes great pictures, the above photos were in a magazine, I took a picture of the picture :)

I have a weakness for cameras too. Thankfully, or is that regretfully, the funds prevent me from indulging too frequently.
Hello there ! Thank you for visiting my blog "Best Buy Betty" LOL... Hey, we all have our favorite stores (I bought my Olympus there .. this is my third camera) Something about having the garden bug in us and tracking plants and birds with our cameras.

I've been *seriously* considering getting an SLR for some time now. Just specifically to take wildlife photos. There's just so many to choose from!
Very cool camera! 12+ megapixels! I'm impressed. I love cameras too but made myself stop as I went through about 10 cameras in a year ;( I finally came to the realization that my abilities did not match the camera's. Besides I couldn't see much difference between 6mp and 10mp.
Your camera has a very nice feature - it has a hot shoe so you can add a speedlight.
Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by. My new camera is not a digital SLR, although I would love to have one :), the SLR I had was a film camera, (film, what is that??). And Ki you are correct in the fact that the cameras are just way too smart for us humans.......lol. I suffer from techno-lust though..... lol.
Just purchased my first SLR, a beautiful Canon Rebel EOS XTi. Is it possible to be "in love" with a camera? 'Cause I am, lol! Love your nick name. Just stumbled in here doing a search on photography. Gorgeous pics.
