I hate to say this but my ground is dry, we have very sandy soil which dries out quickly..............I would not mind having a little shower, shhhhhhhhhh, don't tell the Iowa farmers I said that as they are behind planting their crops. They are eager to grow king corn so we can burn it in our vehicles instead of putting food on the world's table.

You have beautiful flower at your garden. Great color. Very unique color.
Hi IGW... splendid shots of the species tulips! I'm curious though ... the one is 'Little Beauty'(just posted on that last night), but did you plant those orange ones? Several of those came up with 'Little Beauty' this year and I've been wondering if they were natural mutations or something? We've only ever planted 'Little Beauty' and 'Persian Pearl,' so it was a bit of a surprise to see those this year! Any ideas?
So, do the neighbors ever wonder about you laying on the ground so you can take a shot of the flower against the blue sky? LOL And, what ARE those vibrant colored flowers???
very pretty indeed. so colourful. wish i could send you some of our rain. we've had a very wet spring. good for the garden, sure, but I wouldn't mind a few consecutive days of sunshine.
cheers
