Coral Bells

I planted a few new coral bells this past spring, this is one of the plants, this photo was taken just a week or two ago. There are so many new varieties out there, I am going to try more next spring. It snowed today! Off and on all day long. I actually am ready for the winter/late fall season.

Do you find you need to do anything special to heuchera? I planted a few new varieties last year... and lost two of them this Spring. :-(

I adore heuchera ... so many amazing varieties with beckoning names!

Is that one of the "food" Heucheras... maybe Whiskey Sour? I never had much luck with heucheras until these new ones that all seem named after food or drink, came out. Very nice.

Thanks for stopping.

Shady, this will be the first winter for them so we shall see how they do.

Don, I think this was Lime something or other, not sure. You are correct I think a foodie named all of them :).

I love coral bells, too. The first house we lived in, the previous owners had planted some on the west side of the house. When we moved, I don't think I took them with me, but have planted several varieties of them wherever I've lived.
