This past weekend we went to a local greenhouse that grows all their own poinsettias, there are about 6 greenhouses full of various kinds of poinsettias, they string lights throughout, it is a sight to see.

When I lived in Florida (right now I miss it bunches)I had several poinsettia bushes growing outside my Florida room, huge plants and what a spectacle.
I'm with ya on the food scents, like 'em but won't burn 'um, give me the patchouli and all florals any day...just a product of the 60's I guess...must be our age group.
Boy, it is certainly cold out there tonight, have no clue, the squirrels broke my thermometer, they love tormenting Scratchy and run all over my porch...if they weren't so cute, there'd be stew a brewin'...sharon

How did you end up in Iowa, Sharon? From Florida to Iowa is quite a change! I think you are correct about our age group and the 60s regarding the scents.
