Christmas Cactus

Since I haven't posted much I am going to back track some. My Christmas Cactus was really pretty this year, this is the old fashioned one that has been around forever. This plant was given to me by a co-worker who passed away a couple of years ago, this was a start off of his mother's plant.

How beautiful! I love the color of the blooms. It looks so healthy and happy...and it looks like you are a prolific reader! :-)

My mom gave me a small cactus about 3 years ago and it had not bloomed since the first year. But this year is has buds and seems to maybe think about blooming!

I got Norm an orchid about 3 years ago (as well) and it was in bloom when we got it but has not bloomed since. But IT has buds, too.

This may be the year of the blooms!

Yours are lovely!

That is beautiful!!! My mother has the same one. She got it from a neighbor who has since passed away. One of these days I am going to take a start.
