Tree Lily

Posted by Picasa
This is a tree lily that I planted two years ago, each year it gets bigger, the blooms last for quite some time, I have been happy with it, I may plant more this fall.

I've never heard of a tree lily. How tall is your tree lily?

Shutterbug, it is about 5-6 feet tall.

Thank you for dropping by my blog....the tree lily is just beautiful....but more beautiful than that is Rosie. Is she a cavalier king charles spaniel??
I have had seven during my life time and loved each and everyone of them. I lost my polly last year to a stroke and now have a rescue dog....Nella the terrier.

Enjoy your little spaniel, they are darlings......

Cheryl, Rosie is a Cavalier, so is Erin, Quasi the boxer was adopted from rescue, he is over 10 years old, we have had him for over 5 years, he has a scar around his neck from someone letting a collar grow into the skin. He is a sweetheart, sadly he is having some health problems right now.

I too have never seen or heard of a tree lily. Now I want one.

Quasi has been lucky to have someone that has loved him so much this past 5 years.

I admire people who choose to adopt and rescue cats/dogs. I wish more people would do it. I wonder when more people are going to realize that there is an overpopulation of unwanted pets and quit letting their animals contribute to the problem.

That's what the orange one I don't remember planting by my compost pile looks like. It is bigger than ever, and has lots of flowers blooming away. I posted a photo of an individual bloom. I want to get one up with the whole bunch of them open.
