Camera Critter Saturday

At The Feeder

None of these photos are all that great as they were taken through a window but this is what my feeder looks like these days.   I was thrilled to see the Morning Doves are back, so that has to mean that winter is on the down slide.   Cardinals are my favorites, they are at the feeder throughout the day but in the evening we will have 10-20 feeding, getting a few last bites before night, it is a site to see, I wish I could get some pictures but have never been able to.

The cardinals are pretty birds, but I also love the Downy woodpeckers. Great critters!

I like seeing cardinals as well; they are such beautiful birds. We haven't had any birds coming to our feeders. My husband says the birds will feed near water that is not frozen. We'd have to get a heated bird bath if we wanted to provide unfrozen water to birds at this time of the year!

Very cute picture of the squirrel. He looks like he's enjoying those sunflower seeds. :)

I love the squirrel shot!
Your mourning doves leave? I have a couple of pair who have been around all winter. I guess I'll check that out for my area.
I shoot through my window all the time. If you go outside the wildlife fly away. :)

Great shots. I have been trying to shoot a cardinal for a couple of years, but those birds are like greased lightning. Never have time to get my settings right in the camera.

It's way too cold for critters here.

I played too :)

I love these pictures. We enjoy watching the birds but are not fast enough to get good pictures. Thanks for sharing and have a blessed Sunday.

I am a bird watcher and love those pics! In the winter they re often the only color against the snow. I love winter and they truly dress up the season! (I never get good pics of the birds at my feeder either.)

The cardinals are my favorite too. They remind me of my Dad who has passed away - they were his favorite.

Nice shots of the action at your bird feeder, including the ubiquitous squirrel.

I'm sure they all appreciate getting a good meal.

I like how the squirrel appears to have its own house, and can have its meals in Nature in its own personal yard.

Always love seeing and experiencing the cardinals.
