Day Lily all Dressed Up

Posted by Picasa

Since there is not much going on in the garden I'm still having fun with PSP.

Very pretty daylily! Are they blooming in your garden already?

Those are lovely pictures that you have. So, what exactly are you doing in PSP to make them better?

Love the face of the gorilla. Fantastic shot!

Your spring is coming before ours ... we don't have robins or mourning doves ... just sparrows and "snow birds" - juncos.

Beautiful! I'm particularly fond of pink. Amazingly enough, daylilies do quite well here in Phoenix. June is the best month for their blooms.

Thanks for all the nice comments, I didn't use to like pink so much but I do now, maybe it is an "old lady thing" ...lol...

I didn't know dayliles did well in the desert but I'm not surprised, they are hardy.

They are not blooming in my garden right now, in fact they are not even out of the ground but I hope to see their little noses soon.

We still have Juncos-snow birds here so that means we will have snow again, and snow is in the forecast for Friday :(.

In PSP I am using a sharpening and clean-up filters, in the one that has the color removed from the background I used a Tinti filter.

What a gorgeous Lily. I am partial to pink--it just makes me happy. Whatever you are doing with PSP sounds interesting. I could sure use some help with cropping and sharpening my photos.
