Yeah!!! Our 1st rose is blooming.............seems unusually early this year. But I'm not complaining. The weather has been great since the 3 inches of rain last week, I have finished most of my spring planting. Our grandsons were here for the weekend, Jacob helped me plant my herb bed and AJ helped with my very very large (took over 50# of potting soil) pot of petunias. Had a great weekend. The past two evenings after work I have watered and planted some delphiniums and heuchera coral bells, I have become addicted to all the new varieties with their leaves of many colors.

What a beautiful rose. Mine are starting to bloom too and like you it seems a little early. But I'm not complaining either.
Lovely, I am no good with roses of any kind - but I sure love the look they offer to a garden.
Summer is coming to Iowa also.
Love the rose.
Have a great day.

Gardening is very relaxing especially while you have such wonderful help.
Beautiful Rose. I have not noticed any here yet but should. In Portland we have "The Rose Festival" which is always the first part of June, and Portland is "The City of Roses", so should see some soon. It has been so cold and rainy here I don't know how any garden is going to fair this year.
Very pretty. Our knockout roses are blooming their heads off. I don't think the others are doing much. That shows how little I've been in the yard so far!
Oh yeah, the roses, who can resist a fragrant rose in full bloom, the queen of flowers. I live near Portland Oregon, known as the Rose city. The Rose Festival happens the beginning of June but it is usually raining. As it is right now.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Lovely! Do you know "her" name?
