Camera Critter Saturday Questions Answered

Posted by Picasa

More of the Reiman Butterflies, as you can see from this post and my previous ones I love the  butterfly house!  I can't wait to go for my birthday in December when they will also have their Christmas display in the conservatory.

The answer to this week's question is:  I love dogs and have 3, a boxer Quasi Boy who is almost 12, he was adopted by us from Midwest Boxer Rescue at the age of 5, Erin and Rosie are two Cavaliers, Erin is 7 and Rosie is 2.    I also love cats and have 2, Callie Cat who rode to work under someone's pick-up, she was a tiny little thing so I took her home.  Jon Pickles was picked out my grandson after I had lost my black cat at the age of 17.   I also have a 55 gallon aquarium.

Some of the other questions answered:  Fall is my favorite season, purple is my favorite color, I live in Iowa and started blogging in January of 2007.

Camera Critter Saturday has become one of my favorite things about blogging so thank you Misty Dawn for doing this for all of us.

When I had these flying flowers all around I almost had taken them for granted.i can never tire of them and enjoy your shots. I often go on butterfly shoots with a friend who buys anything that has one on it. I had a nice exhibiton of my photos at a local nature center and posted a blog of the variety i had seen in early summer, I think I called it Flying flowers.Have you ever been to the butterfly gardens in the Iowa State Parks. In Bellevue State Park they have one shaped like a butterfly and I believe the largest in the state parks.

Wow - you just brought tears to my eyes. Honest! Thank you for the very sweet words about Camera-Critters.

I want to visit a butterfly house SO MUCH, but there isn't one near us. These photos are awesome, and I think that first butterfly is SO cool! Hey, I'm near the Iowa line, I'll just come to the butterfly house with you! hehehe

Out of Prairie, I have not been to any of the Butterfly Gardens in the state parks, I will put that on my list of things to do. I often go to Geo Wyth State Park, they do not have a butterfly garden but have lots of plants that attract them.

Misty Dawn, Ames Iowa must be about half way between your place and mine depending on what part of MO you are in, so I will meet you there.....lol.......

Wow....I've not seen a blue one like the top photo you shared. They're all beautiful.

Texas Zoo in Victoria is my Camera Critters this week!! I hope to see that you can visit with me also.

Nature certainly has created some beautiful creatures, and you have captured their images so well. Thanks for sharing, I had not seen ones like these before, not all.

Now I know a bit more about you, or at least your pets. I recently acquired a new old dog who I took in. She was a stray. I blogged about her. What a sweetheart she is.

It has been fun seeing all the beautiful butterflies you have been featuring from Reimans's. For those of us too far away to go, it is a real treat. It's always fun to learn more about fellow bloggers. It seems most of us who garden, are suckers for rescue pets too!

Gorgeous camera critters, and your dogs and cats are super, too. Thank you for visiting my blog. Words of admiration about Lindimus Maximus are always appreciated. We love our golden girl.

Lovely photos. We have a very nice butterfly house in St. Louis and it is a regular stop when we play tour guide to visitors.

It is such a relaxing place to visit and I have collected hundreds of shots over the years.

Thanks for visiting my feline houseguest post. I do appreciate all the stop by and comments are just icing on the cake.

Those butterflies are gorgeous!

There is a butterfly house not to far from me, but I've never been. I'd love to someday.

Thanks for stopping by mine. :)

Beautiful shot. As Outon the prairie said, they are flying flowers.
Friday it was 80 degrees and I still had butterflies, today it is 27--probably the end here. Sad day.
