Spring Blooms

Posted by Picasa

Mother Nature is still playing tricks on us.   We had over an inch of snow and slush yesterday.  It is gone today but it is still very cool for this time of year.  I have always heard that there will be more snow as long as the Juncos are still around and they have been around every day,  so I have been wondering if they were correct and they were.   I hope tomorrow when I go for my walk they are gone and I have not seen any at my feeders today so maybe this is our last snow, hopefully, anyway.  Once again the Juncos were correct, I have been watching this for years and they have not missed once.

That's so interesting about the Junco's! I've not heard that before and really believe that there's so much in nature we can learn if we just slow down and watch. I 'think' they are gone from our neck of the woods...

Most interesting about the juncos... we must have many based on the 8" of snow we got yesterday! L

We haven't had snow, but this has been a very stormy and WINDY year here in MS.

Love the blooms!! We just had about 7 inches of heavy wet snow. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

Our weather is running the gambit these days as well. About all we have up is daffodils and they've actually been up for well over a week because of the cold weather.

Your pictures remind me that spring IS coming and I just have to hang in there! Thanks.
