My garden Nov 1st

Posted by Picasa

This is my last rose of the season and the butterfly weed has gone to seed, the fennel is putting on new growth and is the most beautiful green!

Its kind of sad to see everything fade into the winter season.

Lovely color rose! Things really do hang on as long as they can, don't they? I do hate to see the season end.

You're not missing the best the season has left to offer. Good for you!

Have the leaves all fallen off the trees? Hope you're enjoying what left of fall.

You seem to have a mix of autumn and new growth. Plus beautiful blue skies.

If I didn't see the leaves in your lovely photos, I wouldn't have been able to tell it's fall. I'm glad you identified the fennel. I was wondering what that was.

Oh, and that butterfly in your more recent post is pretty too.

I can't believe it's November already. I hope winter goes by as quickly as summer did, and fall is.

I'm amazed you still have a rose. A beautiful one at that!
