How cool that you have one of these in your area!! The closest eagles around our home can be found at least twenty miles from us and I truly envy you.
Birds for me are what makes a yard/garden and to see an eagle like the one in your picture gives me chills! I actually always look for the raptors every day and just love watching them.
the best time to find birds is still now, before all the leaves appear. at the first spring, they sing, totell where they are and to delimit their territory. A good way to atract our attention ! http://www.european-trees.com/oiseaux.php

Isn't that just the most beautiful sight! Up close, it's amazing their wing span. Fortune is following you.

You are one lucky person!!! Not everyone is lucky enough to see them, let alone capture them in pictures!!! Beautiful shot.

A nice shot indeed. They will often fly long distance if the pickings are good.
Always cool to see the eagles. Great sighting and photo. I hope they do nest nearby, then you could see the juvies.
Beautiful birds. I've taken a couple of pics but they are not close.

They are very majestic birds but I am so glad they don't hang around here by my little dogs.

How exciting! I have been watching the Decorah eagles as they get ready to bring some new chicks into the World. A beautiful sign of Spring.
