Red Again

My hibiscus are in their full glory right now, I have this red on which short bush. I also have pretty pinks one, they are much taller.

TGIF!!!!!!!!! It felt like fall today, cool with occasional drizzles, but tomorrow is supposed to be nice, yeah! This photo was takin in August, my pretty pink hibiscus. This is the second year for these plants. The only complaint I have about them is that they fail to stand up straight.

October 15th Blooms

This had been an unusual fall for this area, we usually have had a killing frost by now. Lots of my annuals are still blooming, they are looking a little ragged but still are in bloom :). For perennials, the asters are in their full glory, also the sedums, the hibiscus are still blooming, mostly while laying on the ground but still blooming. I have some roses still in bloom as well.

The Heat is Still ON

OK, I am really tired of this heat, have I said that before?? Yes I have. The seed pods of butterfly weeds are so interesting, don't you think? My hardy hibiscus are still going strong, if they would only stand up taller, my black sedum is starting to flower.

One thing about Hibiscus is they are not shy about blooming, the blooms are as a big as a dinner plate.
