Beautiful Sunny Day

The heat and humidity has finally lifted! It has not rained in two whole days. I hope to get back to digging and dividing iris this weekend. Some of the phlox are still in bloom, they have such a nice scent. The nasturtiums have finally started blooming, not sure why they took so long. My hydrangeas are in their full glory.

At long last we've had some sunshine! Yippee! And I've had my butterflies visit the garden. Come and see the little video I took of them :)

Beautiful colors! Especially like that particular shade of green. Thanks for such great photos!

I divided irises this year, too. We had some very hot weather afterwards that really dried up the trimmed fans, but I don't think you can kill an iris...I hope?
My nasturtiums stop blooming in the summer heat and die back, but I keep watering them until the cooler days come and then they revive for me again!

I am slowly working on iris dividing, too! Love the pics, esp the hydrangeas.

When I was on vacation up in Northern Germany the hydrangeas were in full bloom there as well. Mine is still rather tiny. I hope it will be bigger next year. Your phlox is beautiful! / greetings, Andrea

I have to divide my irises too. I am waiting until the in-laws are gone and then I am going to town and moving stuff all over the yard as I have nearly quadrupled my garden space!! Yeah!!

I grew phlox from seed this year and really like them...they are definitely on my list for next year.
