Oh how lovely! Are they inside glass? I couldn't quite tell. Sure are beautiful. I used to build terrariums inside of 5 gallon bottles. Too much like work now. do you have any critters in there?
That's the very same kind of moss I recently started growing in a plastic container cover under grow lights in the basement. It reminds me of lilac suckers when it's young and sprouting, and Jacob's-ladder leaves when it's old and matted down. I wonder what its scientific name is.
Coneflower, the top of the glass jar is open, it is just a cheapie that I picked up at Wal Mart, I put an old saucer on top to make it air tight, if there is too much mositure I just remove the saucer for a day or so.........really fun to do.
Thanks for stopping Fly! These are really easy.
Gabriel, this is moss that I collected from my yard, not sure what is scientific name is.

What great looking terrariums. I only tried one terrarium once and it didn't work for me. Love yours!

Oh yes, on further looking, I can see the glass vessel in the second photo. What is the top of the glass like?
