Thursday Afternoon



The bottom photo is a species tulip, the top is something I dug from a woods near by house when they were going to dig a basement for a new house, I think it is wild ginger.

I think you have bloodroot there. I just posted about bloodroot in my garden. check it out and see if the flowers are a match. it's a real charmer isn't it?

Irena is correct, it is bloodroot, I knew that but forgot it, senior moment.........again...... :), it is all leafed out now, I took some pics last night.

Beautiful! Isn't it amazing how long it seems for Spring to come, and once here, blooms at lightening speed? Now, I am off to learn more about Bloodroot.
