I love lilacs. We have the old fashioned ones that came from Grandma and I don't know where before that. The smell is heavenly.
The most beautiful aroma of all the flowers in my opinion.
Such a lovely picture! My purple lilacs are also in bloom, but my white ones aren't quite there yet, sadly.
I also have to agree with Marlene as well - it is the most beautiful aroma that is present in the spring!
Wow, I can almost remember how lovely they smell. So excitingn to be seeing them open. Enjoy!

I love lilacs. I have 3 lovely daughters and I told their boyfriends it would be a wise move on their part to keep me supplied with fresh lilacs. ;)

I've planted a few here before, but they never made it. I guess they don't like my yard.
What a gorgeous picture. Could you bottle up that perfume and send it to me? Heavenly!
My lilac bush has just gotten its leaves, can't wait for the flowers to come. I'll be sure to take pics.
