The pretty pink Hibiscus are in their full glory right now. Guess what? It is still hot and humid with a heat index of over 100...............I am so ready for fall.

Hibiscus! You can grow hibiscus? Those are such beautiful flowers. It is only about 65 here today at 2:45pm. No complaints about the heat here. I love hibiscus. I save the one I had in a pot from last summer and thought it might have a rebirth if I kept it inside over winter, but no such luck. Great photos.
Nice color on the flowers. We over winter our Hibiscus in the house.
Speaking of fall a lot of the nurseries already have mums for sale ad they are blooming.

My but these bring back memories. My grandmother grew them, and they always seemed so exotic and unlikely in West Virginia. I always wanted to pick them and wear them behind my ear, like a Hawaiian girl. Gran would not have appreciated that, so it never happened. I still regret not sneaking one.
I have lots of hibiscus but this one is new to me. Never seen this before, really!! Thanks for sharing :)
