A real eye catcher for me, I enjoy the droopy bloom. It attracts all kinds of butterflies andother insects. This is a nice sand prairie I remember, have you seen any yellow-headed blackbirds there?

Out of the Prairie, no I haven't, I haven't seen a yellow-headed black bird in years.

Thanks Costas!

These brought smiles to my face. I'm imagining them as little dancers dancing in the wind!
A yellow-headed black bird? I must look that one up because it sounds intriguing.

They're just beautiful - the perfect Iowa flower. I also loved that red hibiscus - it looks like it should come from someone's imagination - and not something that actually grows from the earth it's so stunningly lovely.

Cute puppies, congratulations.

Those are beautiful! And you say they are wildflowers? Awesome!
I like little Rosie in the next post, too! My sister has a couple of Cavaliers.

Very cool. I LOVE seeing photos of wildflowers. We have a yellow coneflower here but I doubt that it is this one.
