A Few Blooms Inside

I have a few things in bloom inside to brighten my winter days. I have a winter blooming jasmine that has flowers on it, but none are open yet, I can't wait, as the blooms are fragrant.

We have another winter "event" forcasted for Monday, this has been quite an interesting winter!

Just like you I would be eager to have the jasmine in bloom! I love plants with a scent.
Hope the next winter event won't be too bad.

A lovely display of blooms inside. I wish my plants were more in bloom like yours.

What a tropical paradise you have. I haven't seen so many blooms on a African violet, stunning! Happy GTS!

Isn't it great to have blooms inside during winters like this one! It's amazing how a little bloom can lift our spirits.

Thanks for sharing some of your blooms with us. They are so pretty. Isn't this winter something?! It just doesn't want to quit! It's raining right now, but is going to turn to snow by mid-morning, with another 3-6 inches expected! Ack!

Okay - this settles it - I have to do indoor plants next year!! Just lovely.
You are really getting hit with the snow. Most of it has missed us, but the frigid cold has certainly hung around through most of Feb. I am ready for spring and warm weather and time in the garden! I did enjoy all of your winter photos though - beautiful!

Having flowers year round is one thing I love about this hobby. There are always African Violets blooming in my house too. It adds some color to winter. I love the Hoya, I have a tiny cutting of that one, I would love to see the flowers in person.

The color on that African violet is lovely! Do you know the name? Spring sounds good about now, for sure.

I thought perhaps it was a hoya. Was the second a "lipstick plant?" What a fun collection! (It won't be long until Spring!) ;-)

Lovely flowers for inside. My plants to seem to flower for me inside - I might have to get some other kinds. How is your father doing? Have a happy Easter!

You have very lovely blooms in your house.
In our sunroom I have cyclamen and hyzinths flowering and forced forysthia in the dining room.
Looks nice.
After a cold, but sunny Easter weekend, it is snowing again in Toronto. Whatever the calendar tells us, it is not spring.
Yesterday I discovered a few snowdrops and crocus peaking through the snow.
A very welcome sight.

Cheers.
