Late Bloomers

The asters were really pretty this year in my garden, the bugs and bees love them.

Beautiful color. Aster is such a simple flower--that's why I've always liked them even though I don't have any in my garden.

I love the color of your aster. That's one plant I don't have but would add to my poor fall look. I remember my Grandma growing those Cockscombs. I always loved them and they do dry true to color and shape. I hope you didn't get any measurable snow. It TOOOO early for that to start.

Aren't the asters pretty this year? They're so full!

My asters bloomed early, but they are certainly a welcome spot of color in the fall when everything else is winding down.
My mother used to grow cockscomb; such an interesting flower, I haven't seen them in a long while.
